FEATURED PROGRAM
RAMP
(Residential Access
Modification Program)
The RAMP program helps eligible Albertans make their homes more accessible.
It can help cover the cost of eligible modifications like ramps, platform lifts, tub/shower conversions and more.
How the RAMP process works
1. Assessment
An OT, PT or physician completes an assessment to confirm your need.
2. Get 2 Quotes
You (or your assessor) collect at least two quotes from different vendors.
3. Submit Application
Your assessor submits your application, documents, photos and two quotes to RAMP.
4. Application in Process
RAMP reviews your application.
5. Approval
If approved, RAMP approves the project based on the lower eligible quote.
6. Approval Letter Sent
RAMP sends the approval letter to you and the approved vendor.
7. Vendor Contacts You
The approved vendor contacts you to schedule and complete the work.
8. Funding Paid to Vendor
RAMP reviews and pays the vendor directly.
RAMP funding is paid directly to the approved vendor. You don’t pay RAMP back.
